The EPS 600 Power Supply has been specially designed to cover most electrophoresis applications in a modern research or diagnostic laboratory. The voltage and current capabilities of the EPS 600 make it a very versatile instrument for use in both horizontal and vertical electrophoresis as well as blotting applications. The EPS 600 can operate two different systems in parallel, either with constant voltage or constant current. Both current and/or voltage can be set as limiting parameters.

The programming flexibility of the EPS 600 allows up to ten programs to be stored in the non-volatile memory set for voltage, current and time. The easy recall of programs and simple user interface, allow easy and swift operation of the unit.

With this new added functionality it is possible to select whether or not to automatically resume the currently running method after a power failure. When auto resume is selected and a power failure occurs the method is automatically resumed and on display a power failure message appears along with the power failure duration time. When auto resume is not selected the T-Cy comes up with a power failure message and asks whether or not resume the method. In the configuration menu the auto resume option can be selected. Also the last occurrence of a power failure is displayed.

Available from September deliveries on, all T-Cy's are provided with software version 1.10 and have a new low noise emission fan build in.
